Join Aptive as a Junior Program Analyst supporting the delivery of health system transformation and innovation, implementation and operations support, and healthcare business enabling services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
The Junior Program Analyst has healthcare transformation experience and will be responsible for supporting VHA's Journey to become a High Reliability Organization (HRO) across 170+ sites of care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.
Bachelor's degree in a related field
3+ years of work experience in Government health care operations, 2 years must be directly related to Healthcare transformation experience in a healthcare setting
Government health care operations consulting experience
Experience supporting large Cabinet-level federal agencies, ideally the Department of Veterans Affairs
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship indefinitely
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
JOB DUTIES.
Contribute to a large program with multiple concurrent workstreams, multiple subcontractors, and focuses on several complex initiatives that address, implement, and apply HRO sustainment across the health system
Lead and support HRO cultural transformation
Conduct detailed analyses to draw conclusions and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations
Utilize critical and analytical thinking skills to assist in determining clients' projects and programs requirements
Ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple stakeholders
Contribute to a collaborative work environment
Present content that addresses client needs to drive toward a decision and/or validate decisions with client leadership to drive growth and progress
Conduct independent and integrated analyses of people, processes, technologies, and policies to ensure a whole system approach for measuring clinical and operational outcomes
Provide VHA with evidence-based information and data analytics for decision support, standardization, and performance management
Help optimize program performance of HRO initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and continuous process improvement
Provide VHA leadership with direct customer input and measurement from the field
Observe, identify and document how VAMCs operationalize HRO activities to quantify and measure the impact and value
Determine the best methodologies and approaches for measuring activities, and their impact on the HRO Journey and Just Culture, to provide a way for VAMC Leadership to monitor, gauge and strategize their own Journey
