    JOIN APTIVE AS A PROGRAM ANALYST SUPPORTING THE DELIVERY OF HEALTH SYSTEM TRANSFORMATION AND INNOVATION, IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATIONS SUPPORT, AND HEALTHCARE BUSINESS ENABLING SERVICES TO THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (VHA).  THIS POSITION IS IDEALLY SUITED FOR A MID-CAREER CONSULTANT INTERESTED IN APPLYING DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE IN A LARGE-SCALE, INTEGRATED HEALTH CARE SYSTEM TO SIMILAR PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS IN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. PRIOR WORK IN SUBSTANTIVE PROGRAMS FOCUSED ON VETERANS HEALTH CARE AND OUTREACH IS EQUALLY SOUGHT AFTER IN THIS ROLE. The Program Analyst shall also assist VHA in the identification of program resources and assist in the development of program reports. The Senior Program Analyst shall have proven and extensive experience in a large-scale integrated Health Care System and with substantive programs focused on Veterans health care and outreach, preferred.

    In this role, you will analyse, measure and evaluate the effectiveness, quality and outcomes of current and future VHA healthcare programs to deliver informed improvement solutions. Your critical input on program organization and management will increase productivity and program performance within projects at various levels in VHA. You'll also identify program resources and be a key player in developing program reports. As you work with your client and project team to establish goals and objectives based on those solutions, you will also assist in operational program delivery and execution.  You'll use critical and analytical thinking to help achieve goals, drive growth and measure success. Prior experience in management consulting, including areas such as data analytics, project management, process engineering, business analysis, or change management are strongly encouraged to apply.

    This full-time work is located in Washington, DC. There are multiple positions available. These positions are primarily telework until COVID-19 social distancing restrictions are lifted. 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • 8+ years of experience in general management consulting, including areas such as healthcare administration, data analytics, project management, process engineering or change management.
    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, communications, management, statistics, analytics, finance or a related field.
    • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and/or similar Federal organization preferred. 
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
    • Ability to work in Washington, DC at least 3 days per week.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

    JOB DUTIES.

    • Engage in research to measure, govern and evaluate performance.
    • Conduct detailed analyses to draw conclusions and develop pertinent and insightful recommendations.
    • Utilize critical and analytical thinking skills to assist in determining clients' projects and programs requirements.
    • Ensure clear communication, organization and coordination between multiple stakeholders.
    • Present content that addresses client needs in solutioning sessions to drive toward a decision and/or validate decisions with client leadership to drive growth and progress.
    • Create business case decision models, customer financial models, or execute process mapping to optimize clients' operational productivity, forecasting and budgeting processes.
    • Provide administrative support, event planning, and other ad-hoc tasks as needed.
