    Aptive is seeking a Graphic Artist with demonstrated experience to assist with the development of products and production of materials to support an integrated communication campaign that communicates the agency's strategy, accomplishments and goals and garners buy-in from employees and stakeholders for our Government clients.

    The Graphic Artist must have graphic design expertise, assist with defining and influencing strategy and work directly with the client and our delivery team to create concepts, develop designs and assist with client presentations. Candidate must also have the ability to not only lead/support creative development, but to work and communicate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment. This entry-level, full-time position is located onsite at client offices in Washington, DC.  This is a contingent position based on contract award.  Estimated start date is early August 2020.  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • 5+ years of graphic design experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art or related.
    • Experience with Section 508c compliance standards/related laws within the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
    • Ability to work onsite at the client office 5 days per week.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance. 
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

    JOB DUTIES.

    • Develop products that support an integrated communications campaign that communicates the client's key messages, supports their goals and outreach strategy ~~ ~~and garners buy-in from employees and stakeholders.
    • Generate promotional materials in print and digital formats, including PowerPoint presentations, analytics reports, fact sheets, templates, outreach materials, videos, photos, promotional graphics for web and social media, infographics and more in alignment with client and corporate standards. 
    • Develop posters and other corporate communications products with a consistent look and feel.
    • Communicate with stakeholders to review designs and gather feedback.

    DESIRED SKILLS.

    • Experience supporting executive level clients.
    • Proven experience in managing ~~ ~~projects and meeting deadlines.
    • Experience with conceptual design, logo development, branding and marketing.
    • Strong time management, creativity and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of concepting and implementation of visual elements (layout, typography and color theory).
    • Adeptness with leading design software packages, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
    • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
    • Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
