    Aptive Resources is seeking a candidate to provide quantitative research, data collection, analysis and reporting support for the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of Financial Readiness. The candidate will bring his or her experience monitoring and analyzing social media and customer satisfaction metrics to aid in the design and modification of strategies to achieve new insights into the needs of the military community. Research and evaluation will validate (or reject) the perceived needs of the military community and the impact communications strategies, plans and materials have on increasing the financial literacy and readiness of Service members and their families. This individual must be able to communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide recommendations that have a direct impact on the program and agency's mission. Responsibilities also include monitoring inquiries daily and conducting continuous research on Financial Readiness.

    The ideal candidate is a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player. This position requires an individual familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. The individual should be highly organized, systematic and proactive in delivering materials and meeting client expectations.

    This full-time position is primarily located onsite at Aptive Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia and the anticipated start date is early December 2019. 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.

    • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
    • Three to five years of experience in a research related field; government experience a plus
    • Experience using SproutSocial
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple moving parts, juggle multiple assignments, and make sound decisions
    • U.S. citizenship

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Work cross functionally with internal teams to support strategic communications planning and stakeholder engagement
    • Conduct research and analysis to determine communications requirements
    • Provide regular metrics reporting and data-backed recommendations based on the data collected, researched, and analyzed
    • Develop weekly reports including: Social Media Metrics Report and Social Media Listening Report
    • Develop monthly reports including: Social Media Reporting and Data Report; Customer Satisfaction Report; and several Video Series Metric Reports
    • Engage in on-going systematic data collection, analysis and qualitative research to identify, design and develop new program offerings to meet the needs of the military community

    • Ability to coordinate with a project team and client stakeholders, as needed
    • Ability to deliver clear, compelling communications, both written and verbal

    • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

    ABOUT THE CLIENT. The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (ODASD) for Force Education and Training (FE&T) is directly responsible for programs and policies that establish and support financial readiness for service members, their families and service providers worldwide. Under the leadership of the DASD FE&T, the Director of Financial Readiness  serves as the focal point coordinating the broad range of financial readiness and literacy issues within the Department of Defense.
