Position: Aqua Aerobics Instructor

Job Type: Part-time

Location: FFC Park Ridge

Compensation: $50-70 per class (depending on experience)

As an Aquatic Fitness Instructor you will be responsible for instructing group exercise classes in accordance with class description set by Regional Group Fitness Manager. You will join a motivating and diverse team that prides itself on building relationships and community. At FFC you’ll be working side by side with the best fitness professionals in the business.

Please note: This is not a swimming instructor position. We are looking for Instructors who teach Hydro Fitness classes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Arrive at class at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled class

Begin and end class on time

Instruct classes (including a warm-up, conditioning and cool down phase) in specialization and as assigned by Group Fitness Manager and/or Fitness Director

Provide instruction and coaching to class attendees

Accurately record class participation and conduct class surveys

Ensure that pool area is clean and returned to original state at the end of each class

Qualifications:

Certification as a Group Fitness Instructor by a nationally-recognized organization

Certified in field of specialty in Aquatic

Current CPR/AED Certification

1+ years of teaching experience
