Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Aquatics Deck Supervisor to lead and manage deck operations, support lifeguard staff, and ensure all aquatic safety protocols are followed. The Deck Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact on the pool deck, promoting a positive and structured learning and recreational atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily deck operations during swim lessons, open swim, and special events
Serve as lead contact for lifeguard and instructional staff on duty
Ensure all safety procedures, equipment, and emergency protocols are consistently followed
Monitor class transitions, break schedules, and staff rotations
Address patron inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
Provide on-the-spot coaching and support to aquatic staff
Assist with training, mentoring, and onboarding of new team members
Conduct facility checks to ensure cleanliness and safety compliance
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience in an aquatic setting preferred
Current Lifeguard certification required
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
