    About the Role:

    Aquila is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer  to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. Aquila is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer  mission is to provide Finance, Travel, and Property services where and when it matters most to support world-class research and development by the organization  is undergoing some changes to their accounting practices that require additional resources to support both system application and policy changes.

    There are a few requirements for the position:

    • Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
    • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
    • Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts.

    Responsibilities:

    • The developer will actively advise and participate in the architecture and hands-on development of application using Power Platform
    • The developer will be expected to lead all aspects of design and development of the new application, which is expected to be flexible and scalable
    • The developer will also be expected to create system documentation and enterprise-level Standard Operating Procedures documents
    • Developing applications from the ground up utilizing skills including object-oriented programming Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, databases (SQL), and Power BI
    • Designing, developing, and configuring scalable web applications
    • Creating system documentation and standard operating procedures for enterprise web development
    • Collaborating with the team in translating user stories and requirements into functional code
    • Identifying critical dependencies and gaps, solving technical challenges, and implementing new enhancements
    • Supporting the deployment process including post-deployment review of logs for errors
    • Collaborating with other team members to support estimation and requirements finalization efforts
    • Defining and developing methods for robust system monitoring and troubleshooting
    • Working and Training staff on how to troubleshoot and build solutions
    • Following all best practices for version control, CI / CD, and development management of the system

    Must Have:

    • 5 years Analyze Model and Measurement Data
    • 5 years Business Intelligence Tools such as Domo/Tableau/Looker/SAP/PowerBI Cloud Platforms
    • 5 years Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Modeling, especially for Rationalizing Data Objects
    • 5 years Data Analysis
    • 5 years Data Architectures
    • 5 years Databases and Data Engineering for Big Data
    • 5 years Design Patterns, Data Structures, Functional Programming Principles
    • 2 years Experience developing on the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerFx, Power BI
    • 5 years Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
    • 2 years Experience with SharePoint Online features
    • Bachelors degree

    What You'll Bring:

    • The candidate should have extensive hands-on PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI development experience and be well-versed in SDLC, the complete MS Solutions stack, and application security.
    •  5+ years of IT systems development experience, with primary focus in the Microsoft solution stack and Cloud technologies
    • 5+ Years of experience and in-depth understanding of the capabilities in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Data Verse
    • 2+ years of experience in developing both Model-driven and Canvas Apps
    • Knowledge of using PowerFx with PowerApps
    •  2+ years of experience and knowledge of SharePoint Online features for collaboration and business process automation
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
    • A strong applied knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform services, including an in-depth understanding of its capabilities, boundaries, and constraints
    • Three to seven years of experience building solutions for the Power Platform
    • Experience with Data Visualization, Business Intelligence tools inside of Power BI
    • A basic understanding of authentication, security, and application lifecycle management (ALM) practices for the Microsoft Power Platform.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong technical leadership and attention to detail

    • Microsoft Certified Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
    • Microsoft Certified Power Apps and Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert
