Staff Accountant
I ‐ About the Firm
The Firm is an established business that serves the complex accounting and administrative needs of wealthy families and family offices. It is comprised of a team with both passion and deep-rooted experience in advising the most successful families in the world.
The Firm provides bill payment, personal bookkeeping, accounting, aggregated financial and performance reporting, ILIT administration, and other administrative services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and family offices, typically in concert with leading wealth advisors, throughout the United States and overseas.

II ‐ Job Description
The Staff Accountant is a key position at Aquilance. You will be working hands on with Management and Senior Management:
• Preparation journal entries associated with client operations, charitable foundation, and trust activities
• Perform monthly reconciliations to bank statements and other relevant source documents
• Monitor daily, weekly cash positions for various accounts and ensure adequate funding
• Monitor and record credit card transactions
• Review expense classifications for reasonableness
• Reconcile accounts between related client entities
• Work with a team to ensure client expectations are met
• Communicate exceptions to supervisors, managers, and department head as applicable
• Contribute to the growth of the department participating in project work

The individual will be responsible for providing the core services to the team as defined above. The position will drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on the long-term service model. This person will liaise between internal teams, providing support to client facing individuals. The primary function of the Staff Accountant is the delivery of exceptional client service to the internal team.

• Bachelor’s degree or working towards in business, economics, finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
