POSITION SUMMARY:

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE ALL ESTIMATING & SALES IN A SPECIFIC TERRITORY OR MARKET SEGMENT. WORK ORDER GENERATION, JOB LAYOUT, QUALITY CONTROL, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND BILLING ACCURACY ARE KEY COMPONENTS OF THE POSITION.

STRUCTURE:

• Full-Time, Exempt Position. Must be available for occasional after-hours events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• ISA Certified Arborist
• Certified in CPR/First Aid, annually;
• California driver’s license with good DMV record;
• Posses clean driving history and valid driver’s license

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for sales goals in an assigned territory or market
• Responsible in providing quotes/estimates for services provided by the company
• Responsible for generating accurate work orders
• Possess the ability to show and describe the job to the assigned foreman before the work begins.
• Responsible in the quality of work being performed on his/her job site
• Responsible in assuring the customer’s satisfaction

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Attention to detail is critical to maintain high quality of care.
• Solid communication skills in order to complete paperwork and communicate with clients
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Comprehensive knowledge in arboricultural understanding
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications
• Experienced in Netsuite

Company Description

Arborwell was born in 2001 in Castro Valley, when Peter Sortwell was let go during a restructuring of an international landscape and tree care company. Peter had worked there for 15 years, and had started their tree division and grown it across the United States. This left him in a quandary; in the small horticultural industry, he could not find another company with which he felt his specialized skills would fit.
