WHAT YOU'LL DO

Currently we are looking for a LOGISTICS SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join ARCBEST'S DEDICATED OPERATIONS TEAM in SPARKS, NV. The Logistics Sales Representative position builds a vast knowledge of surface transportation in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada that is used to match available carriers with loads secured by ArcBest. The Logistics Sales Representative I offers a vast array of responsibilities and exposure to all aspects of a transportation brokerage operation.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Work closely with Sales to help secure available equipment.
• Negotiate rates with carriers.
• Expand and further develop ArcBest’s core carrier list.
• Review and maintain all pertinent information for carrier files.
• Manage loads proactively from dispatch to delivery.
• Dispatch shipments to carriers.
• Review shipment and service expectations with carriers.
• Communicate with carriers via phone call and email.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the LOGISTICS SALES REPRESENTATIVE, you will be a member of the ARCBEST DEDICATED OPERATIONS team in SPARKS, NV. Your work hours vary based on scheduling to provide market coverage during normal business hours. Business hours are  MON__DAY – FRIDAY, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with irregular hours depending on workload. • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum, one-year transportation experience, preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
