Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Align IT architecture with the overall business strategy. This includes the research, recommendation and introduction new technologies. Create and execute the architectural and technology roadmaps that support a stronger business/IT alignment. Lead the migration from on-premises to cloud platforms.

BACKUP AND RECOVERY:

o Oversee the architecture and design of backup and recovery systems.

o Conduct installation, upgrades and backup processes.

o Backup and replication of data using Veeam and other tools.

ACTIVE DIRECTORY:

o Plan and execute Active Directory Domain level upgrades.

o Plan and design Group Policy Objects as needed.

o Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory, GPO, Active Directory Federated Services, and password/identity management systems.

o Manage and support internal and external DNS systems including the internal DHCP architecture and scoping.

o Review domain level rights and privileges and perform changes to the same as appropriate.

SERVER ADMINISTRATION:

o Design: Oversee the architecture of all server systems.

o Installation: Responsible for all hardware deployment.

o Maintenance: Ensure Antivirus and OS are current.

o Performance: Track server performance, activity and loads.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience.

2. Minimum seven (7) years of previous experience with Active Directory and Windows Server Environment as well as Windows 7, 10.

3. Minimum five (5) years of experience evaluating business requirements and designing complete technical or business solutions in complex environments.

4. Experience running Microsoft stack in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, etc.).

5. Experience with Microsoft Exchange Messaging systems (Exchange 2010 and later preferred).

6. Experience with Microsoft Azure and O365 administration.
