Job Description

As a SQL Server/JavaScript/SSRS Support Specialist you will provide support, advice and practical assistance to clients, partners and colleagues via the support portal, telephone system and remote software tools. You are the first point of contact for all technical and operational enquiries, you diagnose problems and identify appropriate solutions, taking into account the applied service levels. The successful candidate will:

· Ensure a daily follow up on open requests and provide accurate feedback to the client.

· Follow standard procedures for proper internal escalations on unresolved cases.

· Document recurring problems by means of notes and technical articles through the knowledge base.

· Ensure the proper functioning of the ASP platform and react proactively on anomalies detected by the automated monitoring system.

This position is based in North Richland Hills, Texas and reports to the Managing Member

Profile

• Higher educated in IT or equivalent through experience
• Knowledge of Automobile or Truck Dealerships and/or dealership management system software a plus
• Strong customer focus with a desire to deliver a high quality service
• Self-motivated and highly professional with ability to take ownership and responsibility
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Able to think critically and manage priorities
• Team player but able to work autonomously
• Polite with good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willing to perform on-call duties in a rotation mode

Technical Skills

• Experience and good knowledge in web development: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft SQL: Querying, Joins, Stored Procedures and Views
• Working knowledge of MSSQL Reporting Services
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript
• Good knowledge of networking principles: TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP
• Experience with Windows Servers and IIS
• Familiar with Web service API’s: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON
