JOB SUMMARY:

The Human Resource Manager provides on-site support of the Human Resource functions including recruitment, retention, and employee relations for manufacturing associates of the Company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *

• Recruits qualified applicants, conducting initial interviews, scheduling department interviews, pre-employment testing, conducting background checks, and processing new hire paperwork all in accordance with company policies and procedures while ensuring legal compliance.

• Partners with management to resolve employee relations issues, and conduct investigations.

• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continuous improvement.

• Experience in the use of software and HRIS platforms.

• Act as a resource for associate questions (benefits, etc.)

• Assists management in monitoring labor, attendance absenteeism, and turnover.

• Work with plant management to manage, monitor, and control plant-wide safety.

• Experience with payroll processing.

** QUALIFICATIONS: *

• Bachelors degree in business administration or related field preferred.

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience required.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

• PHR or SHRM-CP certification desired.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail, good judgment, and ability to collaborate with others.

• Must be reliable and able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

• Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations: Temperature checks prior to each shift and social distancing with mask as required.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Human Resources: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification (Preferred)
