We are Archadeck Outdoor Living, Central Iowa's and North America’s leading designer and builder of outdoor living spaces such as decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios and shade structures.
We seek an Office Assistant, preferably with previous administrative support experience. In this role, you would serve as an integral part of the operations team and assist in the various support activities critical to the success of our business…which ultimately is…happy clients, team members and ownership. We are looking for a highly motivated person with strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and excellent customer service skills. Much like an airport needs air traffic controllers, we need you!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and assist the Archadeck team with various administrative and customer support activities of the business
Assist with prospect and client inquiries and communicate with team members, clients, building officials, and suppliers regarding project information
Enter and maintain prospect and client project tracking data in the Archadeck CRM system and other technology applications as appropriate
Manage tasks and reminders for projects in a timely fashion and maintain client job folders as appropriate
Follow up on any client/vendor collection or payment issues and communicate with the Business Owner as appropriate
Assist in achieving high customer satisfaction levels via timely communication with prospects and clients
Assist in digital marketing support, including web site and social media content management
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years-plus experience working as a member of high-performance teams
Independent work ethic and professional, positive attitude
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Strong customer service orientation
Strong reading, writing, math, and interpersonal communication skills
Desire to learn and innovate with regard to products, methods, and processes
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.); Google apps, including YouTube; social media apps; and various web technologies is required. Familiarity with QuickBooks would be a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a part-time position, with hours varying from 10 – 25 per week, depending on seasonal demand
Our office space in Urbandale would be the primary work location, though could be open to some “work-from-home” accommodations
