We are Archadeck of Southeast Michigan (a nationally recognized outdoor living builder) who is seeking an experienced carpenter crew to join our team. Preferably those looking for steady work and a long-term relationship. We specialize in designing and building decks, pergolas, screened porches and sunrooms. We are looking for an addition to our team for up to 20 hours per week. You are well organized and take great pride in your work. You possess a strong work ethic and communication abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail. You enjoy working outside, have your own transportation and be willing to travel within the Greater Detroit area (e.g. Troy, West Bloomfield, Novi, Northville, …). Responsibilities include

· Pick up and delivery of materials to / from jobsites

· Pick up construction debris at jobsites and transport to recycling centers

· Dig footings, trenches, and do basic grading with compact track loader

· The work is physically demanding, extremely varied and will consist of a changing mix of responsibilities and tasks.

Qualifications

· Experience with driving a trailer

· Customer service oriented

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground

· Problem solver with ability to work independently and take initiative

· A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to be on time· Keep a tidy personal appearance, and a clean and safe job site· Must own reliable transportation

· Capacity to physically lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred

· Basic carpentry experience

· Operating a compact track loader
