Residential Systems Account Manager
Seeking a motivated self-starter to increase sales penetration at existing accounts and prospecting new accounts in the Smart Home and Lighting Control channel. Customers including, but not limited to, Distributors, AV Integrators, Builders, Lighting Showrooms.
Develop strong relationships with Channel Clients, who buy through distribution, Lighting Showrooms and as direct dealers. Be perceived among those accounts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for lighting controls and automated window systems
Prepare and present Lutron approved certification trainings for lighting control systems and automated window treatment systems
Provide contractor support on the phone and on site- sales, system design, installation, programming and trouble shooting
Keep accurate expense records and submit expense reports in a timely manner
Participate in local trade associations for Builders, Developers and AV Contractors

BS in computer science, electronics or other technical degree with a GPA of 3.0 or greater desired
5+ years of prior technical sales or AV/security/smart home technology industry experience preferred
Ability to grasp complex concepts and develop an understanding of networking and third party control systems required
