Archipelago Analytics is a fast growing start-up working to revolutionize the quality of commercial property risk data and how it can be leveraged. Archipelago was founded in 2018 by tech and finance entrepreneurial veterans with previous leadership at RMS and Apple.  We are an internationally diverse and remote-first company headquartered in San Francisco with additional offices in London, New York, India, and the Netherlands.

You are a game changing designer with the ability to think outside of the obvious  – You are a brand superhero with a superpower of translating complex ideas into visual metaphors, illustrations, and compelling story driven designs.  You're self-motivated, creative, organized, and a skilled interpersonal communicator.  You're curious by nature and experienced in B2B Technology,  

Role Responsibilities 

The  ACD/Visual designer will support Marketing with several strategic design initiatives. They will help develop visual brand identity, internal and external marketing campaign materials, visual design and communication,  illustrations,  as well as help build bold, story driven presentations. This role will support growth, product and brand marketing and will report directly to the VP of Marketing.  

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an in-house creative team or agency 
• A portfolio that demonstrates your experience in creating brands,  compelling story driven visual designs and  illustration
• Ability to present design concepts, iterations, and final art — and provide rationale for decisions along the way
• A collaborative team player that successfully juggles multiple projects 
• Eagerness to grow existing knowledge and capabilities
• Expert skill in design and presentation tools  (including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud, and Keynote, Google slides and strong plus is you have experience with Prezi) 
• Strong work ethic with exceptional project management skills and ability to track progress and milestones

Bonus points

• Animation and video editing skills are also a very strong plus
• Strong plus if you know Prezi
