    JOB DESCRIPTION –ACCOUNT MANAGER

    Archipelago Strategies Group, Inc. (ASG) is looking for a dynamic ACCOUNT MANAGER to join our award-winning team. We are looking for a self-motivated, client-oriented and thoughtful professional who will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients while coordinating activities between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. The ideal candidate will have client management experience with high levels of customer service and 3 - 5 years of marketing agency experience.

     

    ASG is a Boston-based agency specializing in “marketing with purpose.” ASG helps organizations deliver on their missions by connecting with diverse audiences and building trust that leads to action.

     

    CLIENT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Develop and follow work plans for ASG clients’ initiatives

    · Develop and oversee customer retention campaigns

    · Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements

    · Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

    · Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner

    · Serve as the link of communication between key customers and the Leadership Team

    · Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships

    · Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

    · Use ASG CRM and Marketing systems to track clients and sales

     

    COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Identify, initiate and deepen relationships with various community stakeholders on behalf of ASG clients

    · Independently research and develop member engagement programs, initiatives and events aligned with ASG clients’ initiatives

    · Coordinate, plan and attend community meetings on behalf of ASG clients to hear community concerns, provide information about community engagement and advocate for participation

    · Fulfill logistical requirements for community meetings, events and engagements including but not limited to: recruitment of participants, scheduling, assessing and securing meeting locations, pre-meeting communications, preparing materials, securing printing and delivery of final materials and providing on-site support, as needed

    · Attend non-ASG events relevant to better understand ASG client’s community interests and activities

    · Create mechanisms for internal and external evaluation of engagement initiatives

    · Distribute information to the community and broader publics through multiple channels

     

    COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Implement focus groups, surveys and other ways for assessing, researching and receiving feedback from ASG clients’ markets and leads

    · Manage ASG clients’ social media channels

    · Manage creation, development and dissemination of ASG’s clients print, digital and video advertising campaigns

    · Track ASG clients’ metrics using Google Analytics, social media dashboards and HubSpot

    · Support the development and execution of brand identity and collateral materials for ASG clients

    · Contribute and create content for blogs, videos, photos or any other PR, advertising or social media needs

    · Pitch ASG client press advisories and releases to local and national media to secure media placements

     

    ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Report daily time spent on client accounts using Function Point

    · Daily participation in all-staff meetings.

    · As needed, perform additional tasks to support the effective operation of ASG.

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    · Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business administration or related field with an equivalent number of years of experience

    · Understanding of the Marketing and Communications industry is a must

    · Proficiency in sales and marketing technologies including: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, LinkedIn, Hubspot and MS Office 365

    · Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

     

    HOURS AND COMPENSATION
