    OVERVIEW:

SILTT is seeking a skilled Architect with experience supporting advanced data center and telecommunications infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in architectural design principles, strong coordination skills across building systems, and the ability to apply practical, site-adapted solutions throughout the design and construction lifecycle. From early planning and technical development to field implementation, this role will contribute to the delivery of efficient, resilient, and well-integrated facilities. If you’re a clear thinker, detail-oriented, and motivated to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects - SILTT encourages you to apply.

    WHO WE ARE:

At SILTT we’re pushing the limits of infrastructure innovation in the Telecommunications and Information Technology industry. From delivering world-class modular data center facilities to all-hours, 365-day operational response and disaster recovery, our multi-functional team of experts are force multipliers across the infrastructure landscape. We pride ourselves in leading from the front to advise, assist, and accompany our clients through their toughest technological and operational challenges. We always deliver results (we spell it “re-SILTTs”)!

    WHY SILTT?

At SILTT, “objective-driven” means first being “people-driven”. As a small business we know that the ability to achieve our mission demands we take care of our own by providing our team members with a variety of benefits that allow them to live fulfilling, healthy, balanced, meaningful lives. That’s why we believe in offering paid healthcare, ultra-competitive 401K matching, accrued paid time off and fixed holiday leave, continuous learning and professional development incentives, and promote a sustainable work-life balance.

    A CALL TO ACTION:

As SILTT continues to grow in the world of critical infrastructure, we are looking for a capable and driven Architect to support the design and delivery of high-performance data center and telecommunications facilities. This role will contribute to a wide range of efforts to include early planning and site layout studies to technical drawing development, site-adapt reviews, coordination with engineering disciplines, and construction-phase field support. The Architect will be instrumental in ensuring that design solutions are practical, buildable, and aligned with the realities of fast-paced, complex project delivery.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, you will apply architectural expertise to support the planning, design, and delivery of technically complex infrastructure primarily focused on data centers and telecommunications facilities. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Support early-stage planning efforts including site fit assessments, zoning analysis, and test-fit studies for new facilities or expansions.

Develop or review architectural drawings and specifications across design phases (programming, schematic, design development, and construction documents).

Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, civil, and low-voltage engineers to ensure design integration and system compatibility.

Conduct site-adapt reviews to align global or reference designs with local conditions, permitting requirements, and constructability constraints.

Support construction phase services, including submittal and RFI reviews, design clarification, and field change documentation.

Review and interpret local building codes, accessibility requirements, and regulatory constraints to ensure compliance.

Prepare clear and consistent architectural documentation, reports, and drawing markups in coordination with internal and external teams.

Participate in design coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.

Contribute to the refinement of design standards, drawing templates, and best practices for future projects.

Provide technical input into long-term planning efforts, including modular expansion, equipment access strategies, and site layout improvements.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (e.g., Architecture or Architectural Engineering).

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in architectural design and coordination, preferably for industrial, mission-critical, or utility-based facilities.

Strong familiarity with site-adapt design, permitting processes, and construction documentation.

Proven ability to coordinate architectural work with structural, civil, and MEP disciplines.

Experience interpreting and applying building codes, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Proficiency with architectural drafting and modeling tools (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ACC).

Demonstrated ability to review and comment on design submittals, RFIs, and field changes during construction.

Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to interface with internal teams, vendors, consultants, and contractors.

Availability to travel to domestic and international project sites as needed.

    TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:

Partially remote. This role is primarily office-based but may be performed remotely as project needs allow. Occasional travel is expected to support field verifications, site-adapt design reviews, customer coordination, and construction-phase activities. Additional travel may be required to attend project kickoffs, stakeholder meetings, or vendor coordination sessions.

Flexible work from home options available.
