Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled licensed Architect / Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and execution of building projects from concept through completion for commercial stores. This is a hybrid role that combines architectural expertise with project management responsibilities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with design intent, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and manage multiple building projects across all phases (concept through construction)
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues or risks
- Ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline objectives
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Lead meetings, presentations, and design reviews
- Manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and obtain necessary approvals
Architectural Design, Documentation, and Construction Administration
- Oversee and contribute to architectural design development
- Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Ensure design compliance with codes, regulations, and client requirements
- Maintain design integrity throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide oversight during construction to ensure adherence to design intent
- Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals
- Conduct site visits and inspections
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor architectural staff and project teams
- Assign tasks and manage team workloads
- Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field
- Licensed Architect
- Proven experience in both architectural design and project management
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials
- Proficiency in design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM tools)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
