    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Architectural Color Manager to lead the strategic implementation of color within our exterior elevation designs. This is a management-heavy role ideal for a candidate with a strong architectural background, a keen eye for color application, and a solid understanding of the construction and homebuilding industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of color integration across exterior design initiatives, from concept to execution.
    • Oversee and maintain the integrity of our curated color palettes, ensuring consistency across communities and alignment with regional preferences and brand standards.
    • Collaborate closely with our internal design team and regional divisions, guiding them on best practices for color placement and design cohesion.
    • Evaluate and approve exterior color schemes in architectural elevations, with a strong focus on design intent, community differentiation, and buildability.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for color implementation strategies, managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple teams and regions.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Environmental Design, or related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in color consulting, interior design, or a related field, with a strong focus on color application in architectural or exterior design.
    • Proven track record in a management or leadership role, ideally within a homebuilding, architectural, or construction-adjacent environment.
    • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and how color translates to real-world applications.
    • Strong eye for detail and aesthetic judgment.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

    Work Location -- This position is based at our Houston Headquarters located in West Houston, near the intersection I-10 Katy Freeway and 610 W Loop N Fwy.
