The Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing installation projects, including the installation, removal, and repair of metal products at customer job sites. This role leads a small field crew of 3–4 team members, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. The Lead Installer works closely with customers on-site, manages installation activities, and ensures high-quality workmanship throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a field installation team.
Prepare job sites and complete installation of metal products per specifications.
Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Perform field repairs and inspect finished work for quality.
Operate forklifts and company vehicles to transport materials and equipment.
Communicate with customers regarding site requirements and project progress.
Complete required paperwork including time sheets, signatures, and safety checklists.
Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.
Qualifications
5+ years of installation or construction experience (metal fabrication preferred).
Experience leading small field crews.
Welding experience and certifications (G1–G4 preferred).
OSHA 10 certification required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to tow a trailer.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
