The Lead Installer is responsible for overseeing installation projects, including the installation, removal, and repair of metal products at customer job sites. This role leads a small field crew of 3–4 team members, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. The Lead Installer works closely with customers on-site, manages installation activities, and ensures high-quality workmanship throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a field installation team.

• Prepare job sites and complete installation of metal products per specifications.

• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.

• Perform field repairs and inspect finished work for quality.

• Operate forklifts and company vehicles to transport materials and equipment.

• Communicate with customers regarding site requirements and project progress.

• Complete required paperwork including time sheets, signatures, and safety checklists.

• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of installation or construction experience (metal fabrication preferred).

• Experience leading small field crews.

• Welding experience and certifications (G1–G4 preferred).

• OSHA 10 certification required.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to tow a trailer.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
