    Architectural Revit Technician, CAD Drafter

    St. Cloud, MN | Direct Hire | $30-$35/hr | On-site

    Konik is partnering with a Central Minnesota company to add an Architectural Revit Technician / CAD Drafter to its team. This company handles development, design, construction, and property management in-house, providing a unique opportunity to see projects through the full lifecycle - from concept to completion.This role is heavily focused on construction document production, supporting a small, collaborative architecture team on primarily multifamily and hospitality projects. It’s ideal for someone who understands how buildings come together and can produce clean, accurate, and buildable drawing sets.

    Responsibilities

    • Produce construction documents with some involvement in schematic design and design development
    • Translate architectural concepts into detailed, code-compliant drawings
    • Support Revit modeling, templates, and family development as the team continues to expand capabilities
    • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and field personnel to ensure alignment with construction intent
    • Assist with revisions, clarifications, and updates during bidding and construction phases
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and organization

    Qualifications

    • Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting & Design
    • 4+ years of architectural drafting or design production experience 
    • Strong experience with construction documents using Revit
    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
    • Solid understanding of construction methods and how drawings translate to the field
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience helping implement or improve Revit standards, templates, or workflows
    • Background in wood-frame construction projects (multi-family housing, hospitality, commercial buildings)
    • Familiarity with Minnesota building codes and construction practices
