Architectural Studio Director – Corporate-Commercial

Konik is partnering with an integrated architectural, engineering, and design firm seeking to hire an Architectural Studio Director for their corporate-commercial sector. This role blends strong architectural project management with leadership and business development responsibilities. You’ll play a key role in maintaining client relationships, mentoring team members, and delivering high-quality design solutions across various project types within corporate, commercial, faith-based, private education, industrial, and retail sectors.

Architectural Studio Director Responsibilities:

• Lead multiple architectural projects through all phases, serving as the primary client liaison.
• Direct and coordinate project teams to meet design, budget, and scheduling goals.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to project staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Represent the firm in business development efforts and guide sector growth through strategic planning.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and schedules across sector projects.

Architectural Studio Director Qualifications:

• Professional or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Licensed Architect required
• Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, preferably in corporate, workplace, and commercial areas
• Previous experience performing in all phases of a project
• Strong communication, client relationship, and management skills
• Previous experience managing and directing a team
• Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, and Bluebeam experience.
• A strategic thinker with creativity, foresight, and a passion for impactful architecture
