    Position Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to work in coordination with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to manage our finance team and collaborate with our executives to provide leadership for our financial operations and play a crucial role in our continued growth and success.

    Responsibilities

    · Collaborate closely with the CFO in setting financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our goals and industry best practices.

    · Oversee all financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and investment activities, in coordination with the CFO to ensure accurate and timely financial information for management decision-making.

    · Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and related reports, working alongside the finance team.

    · Establish and maintain financial controls in coordination with the finance team.

    · Responsible for the general ledger, including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, AR and AP, and the proper allocation within the Chart of Accounts.

    · Monitor and analyze key financial performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement, and present recommendations to the executive team with the guidance of the CFO.

    · Provide financial insights, variance analysis, support budget and forecast planning.

    · Lead and mentor the finance team, in coordination with the CFO, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

    · Remain current on industry trends, legislation and GAAP changes.

    · Contribute to additional finance team efforts as needed.

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly preferred.

    · Proven experience as a Controller or similar financial leadership role, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.

    · In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it in a clear concise manner.

    · Experience in preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

    · Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.

    · Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and managing high-performing finance teams.

    · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior executives.

    · Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

    · Experience in the Architecture and Design Industry a plus.

    · Prior experience with Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system (upgraded version of Deltek Vision) is highly advantageous.
