Are you ready to lead a team of dedicated PR professionals? Arco + Associates is seeking a PR Team Leader to head up our growing PR department. The PR Team Leader works closely with Arco's CEO and fellow department heads on the Arco Leadership Team. The primary purpose of the PR Team Leader's role is to take ownership over the department, produce results for our deserving clients, and bring strategic and insightful leadership to the team. Day-to-day activities will include writing press releases, organizing media lists, and pitching directly to the media. The PR Team Leader will work with the PR Coordinator to schedule campaigns and execute them accordingly on an ongoing basis. From securing media hits to building relationships with reporters and journalists, we're looking for someone who loves nothing more than strategically crafting exciting, newsworthy stories and turning them into a valuable press that enhances reputations and establishes credibility. Responsibilities: • Lead the PR department • Strategize and implement public relations campaigns • Copywriting/content creation for a variety of industries, audience, and platforms • Pitching to media on behalf of clients; fostering positive media relationships • Manage and develop PR Coordinator and recruit, hire, onboard and train new members of the PR team • As part of the Arco Leadership Team, innovate, brainstorm, and strategize new client ideas and initiatives • Media hit coordination and scheduling • Social media content strategy and content creation • Research and identify key influencers and associated communities for PR campaigns; develop influencer strategy programs and documents for client use • Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy • Ability to pivot and come up with new angles and avenues into press coverage Qualifications: • Must have at least 3 years of PR experience • Familiarity with Vocus/Cision media software a plus • Fast, reliable internet connection • Technical skills appropriate to the current business environment • A highly skilled writer, communicator, and content developer • Self-motivated with an enthusiastic "can do" attitude • Dedicated and driven team player Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 depending on experience
