    Area Care Manager – South West Rhode Island

    Family Pride Private Home Care Estimated Total Compensation: $55,000 – $70,000 per year

    Job Overview

    Family Pride Private Home Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate Area Care Manager to support our growing presence in South West Rhode Island. This is a hybrid leadership and caregiving role, ideal for an experienced CNA, HHA, or PCA who is looking to grow into a management position while continuing to provide hands-on care.

    This role combines direct client care (approximately 70%) with care coordination, scheduling, caregiver supervision, and local business development (30%). The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Client Care (Primary – ~70%)

    Provide high-quality personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

    Support clients with mobility, transfers, and safety (including use of equipment as needed)

    Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship

    Monitor and report changes in client condition

    Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive conditions

    Care Management & Operations (~30%)

    Assist with scheduling and shift coverage within assigned area

    Support onboarding and supervision of caregivers in the field

    Conduct client and caregiver check-ins to ensure quality and satisfaction

    Help coordinate care plans and communicate updates with office team

    Participate in community outreach and relationship-building efforts

    Qualifications

    CNA, HHA, or PCA certification (required)

    Previous home care or healthcare experience required

    Strong communication and organizational skills

    Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field

    Comfortable balancing caregiving with administrative responsibilities

    Experience with dementia or memory care preferred

    Requirements

    Open availability (including days, evenings, and weekends as needed)

    Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

    Ability to travel throughout South West Rhode Island

    Ability to assist with lifting and mobility support as needed

    Compensation & Benefits

    Total compensation package: $55,000 – $70,000 annually

    Base hourly pay for caregiving hours

    Monthly auto stipend

    Commission based on growth and performance within assigned area
