We are seeking an experienced and driven Area Director of Sales to lead and execute the sales strategy for three extended stay properties in the Albuquerque market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in extended stay hotel sales, with a proven ability to drive revenue and build lasting client relationships. This is a high-impact, market-level role with direct responsibility for achieving sales goals, growing market share, and positioning our properties for continued success in the extended stay segment. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals across three extended stay hotels. • Oversee all market-level sales efforts, including corporate, group, government, relocation, and long-term stay segments. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, accounts, and local partners. • Collaborate with on-site teams and corporate leadership to align sales initiatives with operational goals. • Conduct regular performance analysis, forecasting, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and adjust strategies as needed. • Represent the properties at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance visibility and market presence. Qualifications: Qualifications: • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hotel sales with a strong emphasis on the extended stay segment. • Multi-property or regional sales leadership experience is highly preferred. • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets. • Strong knowledge of the Albuquerque market or similar competitive hospitality environments. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to travel between properties and attend events as required. Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 +bonus potential
