We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Area Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of our hotel and property. This key leadership role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance of all physical assets in alignment with the organization's standards and operational goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), project management, and team supervision. You’ll be responsible for both day-to-day repair needs and long-term preventative maintenance planning, while maintaining safety standards and budget controls. Responsibilities: • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and purchasing of tools, parts, and equipment. • Supervise, schedule, and support maintenance team members to ensure high-quality, timely work aligned with safety and procedural standards. • Perform and oversee maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, laundry systems, etc. • Enforce compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ADA) and conduct regular inspections to uphold workplace safety standards. • Direct and manage improvement projects, renovations, and construction efforts, including scope planning, contractor coordination, and budget tracking. Qualifications: • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and maintenance management systems. • Proven experience supervising maintenance teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
