    Why Join Us Now?

Our client is on a mission to transform pelvic health for women—and they're growing fast. With recent Series A funding ($9.4M) and new executive leadership, this is a pivotal time to join. As they scale their U.S. commercial footprint and prepare for Series B, we’re hiring an Area Sales Director to lead a high-performing field sales team across the eastern and southern U.S.

    The Role: Area Sales Director

This is a strategic leadership role for a builder—someone who can drive commercial execution today while shaping the go-to-market engine for tomorrow. You'll lead a regional team of 12 reps, aligning their efforts with broader investor goals, product adoption milestones, and payer expansion strategy. As our client prepares for Series B, your ability to deliver results while navigating ambiguity will be key to their next chapter.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead with clarity and conviction—coach, develop, and inspire a field team to deliver consistent results
    • Architect and operationalize field strategy, converting board-level KPIs into regional execution plans
    • Build a performance-first culture rooted in accountability, process, and purpose
    • Break through clinical access barriers and establish core product as the standard of care in OB/GYN and Urogynecology
    • Serve as the commercial voice of the field, aligning Sales, Marketing, and Market Access strategies
    • Build a structure where there is none—own onboarding, training, and performance development
    • Partner closely with the executive team to shape GTM strategy, forecast growth, and influence investment priorities
    • Develop and scale key account and KOL strategies for long-term adoption and retention
    • Guide complex sales cycles while mentoring reps to navigate them independently
    • Lead payer-related field execution as core product transitions from private pay to insurance coverage
    • Support new product introductions, commercial expansion, and cross-functional launch plans
    • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate standards

    What’s Needed to Win

    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
    • 5+ years in commercial sales leadership, ideally in medtech or diagnostics
    • Proven experience leading GTM execution in early-stage or high-growth environments
    • Strategic thinker with operational discipline—you bring both vision and process
    • Strong command of field performance metrics, sales tools, and CRM (Salesforce)
    • Deep understanding of OB/GYN and Urogynecology segments
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change and instill confidence in uncertain markets
    • High EQ, clear communicator, and quick decision-maker with a sense of urgency
    • Comfortable working directly with executives and investors
    • Willingness to travel up to 75%; valid driver’s license and insurable record

    Compensation and Perks

    Base: $170K–$190K + 40% variable (OTE: $240K–$270K)
Strong benefits package with equity participation, car allowance, and travel reimbursement

    Location and Travel

Northeast (Philadelphia, New Jersey, DMV) or Southeast (Atlanta, Nashville); travel 50–75%.

  • Compensation
    $170,000-$270,000 per year
