Title: Area Sales Representative
Territory: Central and Western TN and Boarder Towns in Arkansas
Company: Established and Trusted medical device distributor of disposable medical supplies, equipment, and testing materials to hospitals, closed pharmacies, compounding pharmacies, and alternative clinical facilities.
Description:
- Territory open due to retirement, first few months will be a transition of business from exiting representative.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of core products and utilize this knowledge to successfully sell value based product solutions to new and existing customers in the assigned territory.
- Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports revenue and profit targets.
- Optimize business development plan by maximizing time in the field and overall efficiency through development of leads.
- Meet regularly with manufacturer representatives in sales territory to understand their evolving business needs and position product solutions to meet surfaced needs.
- Continuously expand customer understanding and product solutions and capabilities.
- Build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with manufacturer representatives and their existing and new customers.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with internal and external partners and is available and responsive to their customer’s real-time needs.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and other professional meetings to promote company product solutions and brand.
- Submit timely and periodic activity (CRM) and expense reports.
- Territory is in great standing, accounts to transfer over immediately and commissions accrue year over year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years sales experience in Hospital Medical Devices/Disposables.
- Pharmacy devices or supply sales experience is a major plus.
- Must be able to travel 50-60% of the time within territory.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently, while also partnering with team members remotely
Compensation: 1st year OTE 140-150k annually, uncapped.
