JOB TYPE: FULL-TIME WITH ROTATING SHIFTS
PAY: STARTING AT $18.00 PER HOUR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for monitoring defects, line flow and transporting finished glass wares from the conveyor line to its next location for processing. In addition, this position will be responsible to review the final condition of the bottle to ensure top quality. This person will be tasked with ensuring that specific metric standards are achieved through the forming process.
REQUIREMENTS:
Rotating schedule to include evening, overnights, and weekends – this is a 24-hour operating facility
Work in a high temperature condition and under pressure in a fast-paced production environment with various pieces of technology and machinery
Well compensated position based on company goal achievements
High School degree or GED is required
Manufacturing experience of at least 2 years preferred
Computer skills to involve reading, analyzing, and organizing data and spreadsheets through use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and various other computer programs
Quality knowledge of taking measurements with use of gauges, performing various tests to ensure product is within customer specifications
Very good communication on the floor and in high pressure situations
DESCRIPTION:
Follow up at defective every hour.
Follow up at Pack-To-Melt every hour. Facts for low reports.
Reduce quantity rejection in-line (PARF) based on defective analysis. Save samples for each case.
Set out every hour for defective analysis. Identifying defects and classify them based on their critical level.
Validate automatic inspection equipment performance.
Bring samples to all people involved for a high percentage of rejection.
Sense of extreme urgency when CRITICAL defects appear at the production line.
Strict follow-up at quality procedures, good manufacturing practices, housekeeping, safety, and production process.
