JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated and passionate IT SECURITY INTERN who islooking for practical hands-on experience in a dynamic team setting. This role is open to part-time during the school year for local students and/or Full-Time during the Summer 2021 season.

THE DAY TO DAY

• Assist the IT Security team with on-going projects that support key business decisions
• Review and respond to possible phishing attacks
• Review and respond to network and endpoint related incidents
• Provide monthly security reporting and metrics for IT management

IN THIS INTERNSHIP YOU WILL GAIN EXPERIENCE WITH:

• Security Awareness tools and training
• Endpoint protection and monitoring tools
• Security controls and processes
• Reports and metrics
• Learning more about opportunities within the IT Security area

YOU WILL BE EXPOSED TO:

• All departments within the company, however most exposure will be within the areas of IT

THE QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be enrolled as a student at an accredited university studying toward a degree in Computer Science or Information technology or something similar
• Must have completed the first semester of the freshman year in the major program of study
• Must have and maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0/4.0
• Understanding of security concepts is not required but would help you excel in the position

Company Description

AriensCo began in 1933 when Henry Ariens and his three sons – Steve, Leon and Francis –developed the first American-made rotary tiller at a time when other manufacturers were experimenting with imported tillers. It took many years of experimentation, education and perseverance before rotary tilling became accepted as a proven agricultural tool. The Ariens family conducted educational programs to teach commercial growers, nurserymen and landscapers how the new Ariens Model A Tiller, powered with an air-cooled engine, "plows as it discs as it harrows." Many commercial tiller models followed, all aimed at improving output for vegetable growers around the country. AriensCo introduced the more compact Model B Tiller, the Roller-Tiller, the Multi-Tiller Tractor Tiller, the Jitterbug single-row front rotary tiller and the Tillivator RC for celery growers in Florida.
