    Job Description

    Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply, cost management, leading process improvements, material planning and execution. He/she will work closely with, Contract Manufacturing(CM), Component suppliers, Global Supplier Management(GSM), Product Engineering and new product introduction (NPI) Supply Chain teams. The ideal candidate will be excellent in organization, communication, and collaborating cross functionally and partnering with CM/ODM.

    • Identify and lead cost reduction programs for CM Controlled part numbers and support cost reduction  efforts on Arista-controlled part numbers.
    • Lead improvement of Arista customized cost tool for the CM Management Team.
    • Issue RFQ, perform competitive cost analysis, and negotiate cost with component suppliers, distributors, and CMs.
    • Ensure cost is competitive while meeting other priority goals such as quality and delivery.
    • Own, develop and execute supply chain programs that align to the overall organizational vision. This includes enabling scalability, increasing efficiency and achieving cost reduction.
    • Act as a liaison across geographies to communicate and ensure alignment to objectives.
    • Develop and implement metrics with the CM to ensure accountability and identifying performance improvement opportunities.
    • Communication with critical stakeholders, coordination, and alignment with CM to support build plan.
    • Partner with the CM, component suppliers and GSM managers on all identified material issues and resolve them by identifying the root cause and managing the corrective or recovery actions.
    • Allocate components that are in short supply in a manner that maximizes revenue, minimizes impacts to key performance indicators, and minimizes escalations from customers.
    • Oversee Excess and Obsolete activity from CMs, recommend critical courses of action to management, and own efforts to mitigate liability to Arista.
    • Support business critical events such as cycle count, physical inventory; quarter ends. This may occasionally require work during weekends and holidays.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, economics, finance or a related field.
    • 5-10 years of progressive supply chain operations experience, preferably with program management experience in a high-tech operations environment. Ideally candidates hold min 5 years of OEM experience.
    • Track record of delivering excellence in projects
    • Top notch data management skill. Excellent in compiling and analyzing large data in excel.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated, experienced working as part of a global, cross-functional team who are located in Asia, North America & Europe time zones. Must be able to occasionally work outside of standard USA business hours.
    • Program management, communication, negotiating and influencing experience with a track record of achieving solid business results.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic & ambiguous fast-paced environment.
    • Strong relationship management skills.
    • Travel ~10% a year
