    Job Description

    The Manager of Supply Chain Operations for ODM/JDM will lead a team responsible for the operational support, NPI, supplier development, and lifecycle management for edge devices and appliances. The role will partner with business and engineering stakeholders in the development and execution of the ODM/JDM supply chain. ● Own Supply Chain Operations Management activities for ODM partners to include, Order/Change Management, commit to demand analysis & reconciliation, business process operations/tools, Cost/Price Negotiation, capacity planning and supplier relations and management. ● Analyze the overall supply chain to identify risk and drive resolution to systemic issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-times. ● Work closely with engineering and product management on new products, RFP development, supplier award and NPI procurement. ● Lead measuring supplier performance, root cause issues, and driving sustained improved performance. Own all aspects of supplier performance. ● Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategies and new supply chain models in support of the long-range plans. ● Identify key benchmark suppliers in RF-x efforts. Partner to identify evaluation criteria and provide relevant data and recommendations. ● Own and provide should cost and/or market and actual unit and total cost data which feeds into total cost of ownership (TCO) models. Ensure project costs are meeting or beating cost objectives. ● Propose and execute solutions to eliminate shortages impacting build and ship schedules. ● Interactions involve strategic and tactical procurement activities in a global environment.

    Qualifications

    ● 10+ years’ of experience in Sourcing Management or Supply Chain in commercial or technical sourcing. ● Experience in commercial agreement negotiations and execution. Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and business partners. ● Demonstrated experience improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective based performance measures. ● Experience working with international suppliers, knowledge of hardware design, EMS/ODM/JDM/OEM business models, consignment and turnkey materials, cost modeling, supply chain design, and reverse logistics. ● Experience driving a plan to resolution while balancing differing opinions, reaching out across functional boundaries to drive collaboration and sharing credit in a team environment.
