  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Monitor Import clearances for delays, provide clearance instructions to brokers & tracking reports updates to internal teams
    • Coordinating domestic & air export shipments and creating Cis as needed

    o Screen export shipments according to workflow (RPL/DPL) o Verify export information sched b, ECCN, Value, COO

    • Physical Inventory Leader outside Inventory locations
    • Escalate any constraints or operational issues to the Logistics Manager
    • Ensure Compliance with third party logistics contracts including SOP’s
    • Assist to manage the relationship between all internal and external stakeholders from a logistics operational point of view
    • Work with cross functional teams such as Direct fulfillment operations, planning, order management, Finance and global trade compliance
    • Monitor and report on KPI’s
    • Quarter end planning and issue resolution
    • Participate in logistics projects as required
    • Build and maintain a strong working relationship with Freight forwarders, logistics vendors and internal and external customer
    • Assist in training & development of team members
    • License request form export approval / portal download requests
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    BACKUP TO HQ SHIPPING & RECEIVING

    • IT Warehouse receipts and fulfillments and shipments
    • Tenere Mexico receipts and fulfillments
    • Sanmina Guad IC receipts
    • Sanmina SJ and Jabil San Jose IC receipts
    • Non production receiving (Mostly for items drop shipped to 3 rd  party locations)
    • RTV (tracking and creation of Transfer Orders)
    • HQ IC stock room receipts, fulfillments and cycle count

    CANDIDATE SHOULD BE WILLING TO TRAIN IN:

    • Arista US Export compliance operations, and business rules
    • Arista US Import compliance operations
    • Air Export & Import

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Excellent knowledge of customs practices, import and export regulations and logistics management
    • ability to work with quickly changing priorities
    • customer driven
    • Ability to work well with cross functional teams and with different cultures
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Knowledge of export compliance regulations
    • Experience of working with freight payment company
    • Ability to solve problems under time contraints
    • Experience of working in a flexible multi-functional team
    • Proactive and positive attitude
    • Excellent analytical and PC application knowledge eg Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
