Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our organization. Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices
• Unload, sort, and store materials in designated areas
• Prepare materials for shipment by assembling, packing, and labeling them appropriately
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials within the facility
• Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately inspect and verify materials
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and documentation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Salary info:
