    DAVIS is seeking an Assistant Layout Engineer to perform engineering duties including coordination, layout, quality control and monitoring utilized in the in planning, and construction of our projects.

    Here’s who you are: (required)

    · Minimum of two year’s experience performing basic surveying functions using measuring tape, plumb bob, chalk lines, carpenters’ level, square, survey prisms, tribrach, tripods, pole and builders level, robotic total stations

    · Two year’s experience analyzing Construction Drawings, including but not limited to both structural and architectural drawings, with the ability to cross coordinate between the two documents as needed

    · Decision making, research and analytical problem-solving skills

    · Basic mathematic skills and ability to do conversions (English to metric etc.)

    · Ability to work in the elements and in an office environment

    · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Surveying, or a related field preferred

  • Qualifications
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent customer facing and internal oral and written communications skills
    • Excellent MS Office skills to include, but not limited to MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
    • Experience working in a Marine Corps Systems Command Program Office or similar organization
    • Positive attitude and understanding of the Marine Corps mission.
    • Ability to function as part of an agile team when given broad direction.

    Desired:

    • Ability to create IMS schedules using OnePager Pro
