Our Irvine, CA client is a newly formed digital arm of a well-established lifestyle brands company. They're looking for a Cloud Architect to build out and own the cloud infrastructure that supports a software platform that already has 5 million plus active monthly users. The position will involve partnering with the Software Architect, ensuring a cohesive, scalable strategy as new products and features are added to the platform.

The must-haves:

• 7+ years of experience managing cloud-based systems in high volume environments

• Expertise with AWS (Amazon Web Services)

• Experience building a full back-end microservices architecture with Lambda and the Serverless Framework

• IaC (Infrastructure as Code) experience like CloudFormation and Terraform

• Containerization / Orchestration experience like Docker and Kubernetes

• Exposure to both relational and NoSQL databases

• CI/CD experience like GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins

Bonus points for:

• GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

• A Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or similar

• Experience with GraphQL
