    Job Summary:

    Join our growing HR team as an essential HR Generalist, and become a pivotal figure in our rapidly expanding organization. In this versatile role, you'll be a flexible team player, ready to take on various HR responsibilities as the need arises.

    As part of our HR team, you will be instrumental in shaping our workplace into one where employees flourish, inclusive policies are the foundation, best practices are the standard, and continuous improvement is a shared objective. Your role will encompass being a trusted advisor for both employees and management, offering expert guidance on employee concerns, policy development and implementation, accurate payroll & benefits management, and the application of data-driven insights to enhance our HR processes.


    Title: Human Resources Generalist

    _Versatile HR Support: _

    • Be ready to step into various HR roles as required, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
    • Seamlessly transition between responsibilities, from assisting entry-level employees to partnering with senior leadership.
    • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee knowledge on HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
    • Participate in the interactive process with employees to determine Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance and reasonable accommodations.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all Arizona Liver Health and all of its affiliate entities including Clinical Research Institute of Ohio (CRIOH) and Arizona State Urological Institute (ASUI).
    • Collaborate with external benefits team to provide accurate information on benefits and provide insight for employee inquiries regarding benefits.
    • Oversee compliance with I-9 requirements and ensure all employee files are up to date with the help of the HR Assistant.
    • Oversee career development and aid in consistent reviews of the organizational chart with department leaders and the operations team in order to provide guidance on succession planning, staffing needs, and career development.
    • Assist the HR Manager and other leaders with employee relations issues as needed, supporting and addressing employee grievances, misconduct, workplace conflicts, policy violations, etc.
    • Collaborate with leaders to determine promotional and merit opportunities with the ability to research, present, and negotiate fair salaries.

    _Compliance and Process Enhancement: _

    • Play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, adapting to changes as necessary.
    • Develop and administer employee and manager trainings regarding compliance topics such as non-harassment, organizational policies and procedures, employment law, ADA, FMLA, performance reviews, benefits, disciplinary procedures, ethics, and other human resources services.

    _Employee Engagement: _

    • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture by offering insights and strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
    • Collaborate with HR colleagues and leadership to plan and execute employee engagement initiatives.

    HR Insights and Analytics:

    • Leverage data and analytics tools to generate meaningful HR insights, aiding in informed decision-making.
    • Ensure the right tools are in place for scale and thoroughly vet new technologies as needed for recommendation and future implementation.
    • Contribute to the development of HR dashboards and reports to monitor key performance metrics.
    • Provide analytical data to determine retention and turnover rates, significant factors and implement processes and procedures with the HR team to achieve set key performance indicators (KPIs).

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • At least five (5) years of relative experience in human resources, preferably in a position with high responsibility in a specialist or generalist role.
    • Prior management experience is a plus.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present confidently enterprise-wide or in smaller settings.
    • Expert knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action requirements.
    • Proficiency in HRIS and data analysis tools.
    • Impeccable interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills with ability to effectively manage up and sideways.
    • Adaptable mindset, capable of embracing change and taking on diverse HR responsibilities.

    Education, Credentials, and/or Trainings required:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field required.
    • SHRM certification (CP or SCP) or HRCI (PHR or SPHR) highly preferred.
    • HIPAA training upon hire and annually thereon.
