    Job Description

    Arizona Tile is seeking a HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER who is looking for the chance to join its team and further their human resources knowledge and leadership skills. The individual who is selected for this position will have mentoring opportunities and the chance to grow with the Company. Arizona Tile has a friendly and collaborative environment. Because teamwork is very important to this thriving Company, the Human Resources Manager position does not have the opportunity to telecommute. Tempe office located at Priest/Warner.

    Reporting to the Sr. Director of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to perform the following tasks and projects:

    ·         Serve as the iSolved Human Capital Management (HCM) technical expert by leading the implementation and maintenance of the iSolved Human Capital Management HCM components and other databases and software.

    ·         Ensures Arizona Tile is fully leveraging iSolved HCM to meet the Company’s strategic business needs and pursue continuous improvement in business processes, integration, automation, user experience, etc. Identifies opportunities to electronically enhance the employees’ work experience.

    ·         Provides management of various functions within the HR Department: workers’ compensation, training, on boarding, recruiting, applicant tracking, leaves of absence, process improvement, as well as:

              o   Creation of key metrics, reports, and data analysis on HCM trends.

              o   Provides back-up support for payroll processing when needed.

              o   Executes electronic recruiting efforts and job postings, and oversees applicant tracking.

             o   Contributes to development of employee training and communication/instructional videos and documents 

             o   Manages Travel Reduction Program and annual audits.

             o   Keeps abreast and coordinates the statutory postings for the Company’s branches.

             o   Supports the planning and management of various departmental initiatives and projects.

     

    To succeed in this position, the ideal individual must have:

    ·         B.A. or B.S. degree in human resources, business, or other related field; and experience equivalent to two to three years of experience in an office setting, in a Human Resources department, providing customer service and administrative support.  Experience in human resources or continuous education credits in human resources (e.g., HRCI, PHR, SPHR, etc.) are preferred but not required.

    ·         Prior recent experience with the implementation, upgrading, and/or use of an iSolved HCM or similar robust Human Resources Information Systems. 

    ·         Must possess exceptional computer skills, including but not limited to database management. Must also have strong Microsoft® Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. 

    ·         Exceptional aptitude for large data management, attention to detail, and logical reasoning skills.

    ·         The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines while providing consistent, timely, and reliable results.

    ·         Good judgement and discernment while interacting with Arizona Tile’s employees, deliver a great level of customer service. And, possess the ability to consistently act with integrity and professionalism while using discretion with confidential information.

    ·         Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    ·         Must also be able to effectively cope and manage within a changing environment.

    ·         Need to have the ability to respond to multiple deadlines.

    ·         Posse the ability to take into consideration the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

    ·         Demonstrate exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, and good communication skills (e.g., written, verbal, and listening skills) while interacting with coworkers, supervisor and the general public.
