    As our Principal Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for all systems engineering tasks to support the GBSD program. Frequent internal and customer communication is required as you will represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, including critical thinking and technical problem-solving skills.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Apply the principles of engineering to design components and systems using applicable standards and specifications
    • Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical and integrated systems
    • Perform requirements analysis, develop source data for requirements, generate test requirements and prepare test reports.
    • Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
    • Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements
    • Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the systems engineering function
    • Demonstrate use of advanced technical principles, theories and concepts and apply them to develop recommended solutions to unusually complex technical problems. Solutions are highly imaginative and ingenious and consistent with organization objectives. 
    • Act as an advisor to management and customers, mentor and train junior engineers.
    • Identify risks and opportunities and coordinate with project teams to mitigate and retire risks.

    CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:

    • US citizenship and current DoD SECRET or TOP SECRET Clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline, Masters degree preferred
    • Able to travel up to 10%
    • Strong working knowledge of system engineering process
    • Working knowledge of ICBMs
    • Working knowledge of Cyber/Cryptographic systems
    • Prefer experience/Understanding of NSA Type 1 Certification
    • Adaptable to changes in assignments and responsibilities
    • Ability to collaborate well across multiple disciplines
    • Highly self-motivated and contributing to a positive work environment
