Warehouse Associate Arle Compressors of Florida - Miami, FL Job Summary The Warehouse Associate will support air compressor internal and external customers by handling all Sales warehouse functions including shipping/receiving, loading/unloading trucks, and have basic electrical knowledge. Essential Job Functions * Shipping and receiving of merchandise for Sales Department * Stocking, storing, labeling, picking, packing and distribution of all Sales Department orders * Responsible for receiving freight in and shipping outgoing freight (physically and in business system) * Performs inventory of warehouse Sales orders * Ensures policies for proper receipt, storage and distribution of orders; reviews invoices * Electrical duties: Basic motor and starter change replacing, removing and wiring * Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment * Ensures all safety rules are strictly observed * Follows company policies and procedures * Performs related functions as required * Organize and control inventoried items Additional Job Functions * Required to support the sales department * Other tasks and projects as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (including physical and work environment) * Bilingual (English/Spanish) * Computer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel) * Ability to handle working in a NON-climate controlled environment for extended periods of time * Required to wear proper PPE (personal protective equipment) including steel toed shoes * Must be able to lift up to 50lbs * Must operate forklift vehicle * Must have basic math skills for computing percentages, multipliers, sales tax, and totals on parts orders * Knowledge of inventory control methods and procedures preferred * Ability to perform work during prolonged standing up to 8 hours; frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion also required * Ability to perform functions during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities Minimum Job Qualifications (education, work experience, licenses/certifications) * High School Diploma or G.E.D. * 1 year of shipping/receiving, inventory control and warehouse experience * 1 3 years in electrical * Must have and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (driving history) for insurability purposes Job Type: Full-time Experience: * Basic Motor/Starter change: 3 years * electrical: 3 years * Forklift Operator: 3 years Education: * High school or equivalent Language: * Spanish Required work authorization: * United States 9 hours ago - save job
