Cyber Security Engineer
Armavel, LLC is offering an opportunity to be a part of a growing, forward-thinking team in an engaging, fast-paced environment. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will have the flexibility of working remotely combined with the backing of a well-developed team of professionals. You will identify threats and vulnerabilities in systems and software, then apply your skills to developing and implementing high-tech solutions to defend against hacking, data exfiltration, insider threats and other types of cybercrime.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Develop, build, maintain, and test DLP systems and monitor their effectiveness.
· Plan and develop security plans for the organization’s IT infrastructure.
· Introduce upgrades and replacements as needed.
· Respond to security breaches and investigate how they occurred.

What You Know
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar (required)
· CISSP (strongly preferred)
· CCSK (preferred - can be obtained shortly after joining)
What You’ve Done
· 5 years of experience in a cybersecurity engineering role
· Hands on experience with firewalls, CASB, IPS, or network segmentation is required
· Exposure to a risk management framework such as NIST 80-53, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, HIGTRUST, FedRAMP, etc, is required
· FISMA experience is preferred
· Understanding of Cloud Systems Architecture
· Identity and Access Management knowledge and background
· Must be a US Citizen, with the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
