KRE Security, LLC is currently sourcing qualified candidates in the Carbon / Lehigh County area for potential Armed School Security Officer opportunities.
Please Note: This posting is for recruitment and candidate sourcing purposes in the Carbon / Lehigh County area. We are building a pool of qualified armed officers for anticipated and upcoming school-based assignments.
Position Overview
Armed School Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Officers serve as a visible security presence and respond proactively to potential safety concerns.
Responsibilities
Provide armed security presence on school property
Monitor entrances, exits, and school grounds
Control access and verify visitors
Respond to incidents and emergencies
Collaborate with school administration and local authorities
Complete detailed incident reports
Minimum Requirements
Act 235 certification (required)
Ability to complete Act 67 School Security Personnel certification
Ability to pass all required background checks in accordance with school and state regulations
Valid driver’s license
Clean criminal background
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Experience in law enforcement, corrections, military, or armed security preferred
Schedule
Monday - Friday 7:15AM - 2:30PM
Follows academic calendar
