    Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports.

    Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries.

    Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.

    Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

    Produced ad hoc financial, weekly, monthly, and annual reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss, and WIP reporting.

    Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making.

    Active participation in other accounting, financial, planning, management, or other matters impacting the organization

    Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting processes and increase efficiency.

    Review and approve journal entries and GL reconciliations prepared by staff/senior accountants on a weekly and monthly basis

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    8 to 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting.

    Strong knowledge of debits and credits, as well as general ledger accounting principles

    Sense of ownership and the ability to execute, follow-up, and ensure attention to detail.

    Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask.

    Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.
