Position Overview :
Aroma360 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Logistics Officer (CLO) to lead our international expansion efforts. As the CLO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company by optimizing our supply chain, logistics operations, and distribution strategies to support global growth.
Key Responsibilities:
International Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive international expansion strategy, including market assessments, entry plans, and logistics infrastructure development.
Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability while maintaining high product quality and customer satisfaction.
Logistics Management: Lead and manage the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to international customers and partners.
Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with global suppliers, manufacturers, and partners to optimize the procurement process and secure competitive pricing.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with international trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export laws to ensure full compliance in all regions of operation.
Inventory Management: Develop inventory control strategies to minimize excess inventory, reduce holding costs, and enhance inventory turnover ratios.
Cost Control: Implement cost-saving measures, negotiate favorable shipping rates, and continuously seek ways to reduce logistics expenses.
Technology Integration: Leverage cutting-edge logistics and supply chain technologies, such as inventory management systems, to enhance visibility and efficiency.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain and logistics risks, such as disruptions in transportation, natural disasters, and geopolitical issues.
Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on logistics and supply chain performance, making data-driven decisions.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience (7+ years) in international logistics, supply chain management, and global expansion strategies.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software and tools.
Experience with fragrance, consumer goods, or luxury industries is a plus.
