    We are looking for an experienced Landscape construction superintendent who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors. You'll help our Landscape company plan and manage projects from start to finish for Commercial and multifamily projects. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction field experience with leadership skills in managing general contractors highly preferred. Responsibilities: Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned. • Perform work alongside the crew and supervise crewmembers • Delegate tasks to crew and ensures completion of all tasks • Plan enhancement activities at site according to specifications and client expectations • Assign daily tasks to the crew and ensure compliance • Operate the following equipment: backhoe, trencher, wheel loader as well as plant and irrigation layout • Training and evaluating the effectiveness of the crew • Ensure proper use, care, and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned • Promote and maintain safe working conditions Qualifications: You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred General contractor's license required Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles Minimum 5 years work experience as a general contractor needed, with additional management experience being preferred Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office software • Criminal background check • Pass drug screen (Drivers) • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable Compensation: $65,000-$70,000
