Responsibilities: Clear away any trash, debris, or hazardous materials to prep the site before construction begins Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site to ensure that you and your team members are not injured Be available to help onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment workers as needed, to complete the plumbing, electrical, roofing, and any other aspect of the project Clean up any tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean worksite Stack and prep all of the tools and building materials that are needed for a project in order to keep everything organized • The essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. Other duties may be assigned • Perform work alongside the crew and supervise crewmember activities • Delegate tasks to crew and ensures completion of all tasks • Plan enhancement activities at site according to specifications and client expectations • Assign daily tasks to the crew and ensure compliance • Operate the following equipment: backhoe, trencher, wheel loader as well as plant and irrigation layout • Other duties may include but are not limited to, mowing, weed eating, hedge, and bush trimming, blowing, gathering debris, minor irrigation repair, edging, weed control, minor equipment maintenance, etc • Training and evaluate the effectiveness of crew • Ensure proper use, care, and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned • Promote and maintain safe working conditions • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desirable Qualifications: We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools highly preferred Our crew members must be physically able to do the work with reliable hand-eye coordination and balance Important to be able to work independently and with a team, take direction and follow-through Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods is preferred, but we will provide training Compensation: $16 - $25 hourly
