ABOUT AROPA
Aropa Consulting is an ethical, human-centered management advisory firm, founded in spring 2022 and led by Rosalind Zavras. We serve small and growing non-profit organizations by optimizing any challenges within their organizational structures, ranging from human resources, fundraising, finance, and beyond. Our goal is to prepare our clients to scale their impact by creating a solid back office foundation to propel their growth.
Despite its young age, Aropa has been able to grow rapidly in 2022. We have supported clients launching their first fundraising campaign, we have implemented new accounting systems, and we have submitted elegant budgets to funders around the world. According to multiple clients, we design beautiful systems and we make the process fun.
ABOUT THE JOB
Aropa Consulting seeks our first full-time associate consultant who will be a key partner to help this advisory firm continue to grow. The associate consultant will work directly with clients on a variety of projects, ranging from fundraising, to data clean-up, to grant management. They will also collaborate with the CEOs and Advisory team members on how we can further grow and support our community.
Though headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, the associate consultant role will be a fully remote position. Since the CEO is located in Connecticut, this position will need to work Eastern Standard/Daylight Hours as appropriate.

EXTERNAL RELATIONS
Meet regularly with clients both with Aropa’s CEO and independently dependent on the project, which can include: fundraising plans, grant management, basic finance questions, hiring, and operations
Take detailed notes during client meetings and send follow-ups with action items and next steps
Review vendor selection processes for clients regarding new products and tools
Manage client implementations and support with project planning, vendor management, task completion
Additional client tasks, as the need and your experience dictates:
Support logistics for fundraising events
Review and update fundraising plans and collateral
Data clean-up and management
Policy review and update
Financial review and presentations
INTERNAL DEVELOPMENT
Work with the team’s Executive Assistant to develop content for Aropa’s social media
Research topics on nonprofit management and co-write workshops, blog posts, and articles with the CEO
Track new clients and supporting on requests for information
Support the CEO with developing new revenue streams, training materials, and client products
